Alright, so picture this: You know how sometimes people get all "turned-on" over certain things that most folks wouldn't really bat an eye at? Like, some folks might find a particular object, body part, a clothing accessory, or even a specific situation super arousing, captivatingly romantic, or emotionally satisfying, even though it's not your run-of-the-mill turn-on. Well, in simple terms, that's what we call a "fetish."
Now, these fetishes can run the gamut from pretty common stuff like being into feet or lingerie, all the way to some pretty "out-there" preferences that might raise an eyebrow or two. The thing about a fetish is that the object of desire, known as the "fetish object", holds a ton of sway in getting someone all hot and bothered or emotionally fulfilled.
But hey, here's the deal: having a fetish is totally normal in the realm of human sexuality. As long as everyone involved is cool with it and nobody's getting hurt, it's considered a healthy part of expressing and enjoying your sexuality and orientation.
Fetishes and kinks always involve an emotional component that ties to arousal, creating a strong draw towards the situation or object. In the case of a fetish for seeing girls smoke, a strong association with smoking can develop in myriad ways. For some they may have experienced their first orgasm while trying out smoking, or they had an emotional reaction or admiration when they watched a romantic crush smoke a cigarette for the first time, revealing her "secret naughty side", which creates a strong psychological tie between the object, the person involved with the object, and the related sexual or romatic arousal or pleasure.
What a Fetish IS...
Alright, since many people have different ideas of what a "fetish" is, let's break down what a fetish really entails in general, shall we?
• Legit Attraction: So, we're talking about a real, deep-down attraction here.
• Sexual Arousal: A fetish is all about getting "turned-on" by something specific — it could be an object, a body part, an action, or even a certain situation.
• Focus on Non-Sexual Stuff: Now, here's the kicker—what gets someone with a fetish going might not be something you'd think of as "sexy" at all. But for them, it's like the ultimate turn-on.
• Super Strong Connection: We're talking about a serious link between that fetish object and getting hot and bothered. Sometimes, just thinking about it or having the fetish object or activity around is enough to get things going in the bedroom.
• Sticking Around: This isn't just a passing phase. A fetish is something that sticks with you over time, popping up in your fantasies or what you're into, in the sack. So usually, a fetish isn't something that you "grow out of" over time.
• Everybody's Different: Fetishes come in all shapes and sizes. Some are pretty common, like digging lingerie or admirfing feet, while others are more offbeat or niche.
• Personal Taste: What floats your boat might not do it for someone else. It's all about personal preference when it comes to what's arousing and what's not.
What a Fetish ISN'T....
So let's clear the air about what a fetish isn't...
• Not Some Creepy Perversion: Just because someone's into something that might raise eyebrows doesn't make them a total creep. Yeah, some fetishes might seem "way out there" to the average Joe, but for the person who is into the fetish, it's just their thing — it's not about being sleazy, pervvy, craven or depraved.
• Not Always Harmful: Sure, some fetishes involve stuff that could potentially be risky, like bondage and breath play, but being into something doesn't automatically mean that the fetish is harmful. As long as everyone's on board and nobody's getting hurt, it's all good.
• Not a Sign of Mental Illness: Having a fetish doesn't mean you've got some kind of screw loose. It's just part of being human and expressing your desires in your own way.
• Not Everybody's Got One: Fetishes aren't a one-size-fits-all deal. Some people have 'em, some people don't, and even those who do might be into totally different stuff.
• Not Always Obvious: Sometimes, folks don't even realize they've got a fetish until it comes up or they give it a little thought. It can be a private part of someone's sexuality, and that's totally cool.
So, bottom line, a fetish is basically when someone's really into something specific that gets them all turned on, worked up, and horny — it could be an object, a body part, an action, or even a whole situation. In general, it's like a super focused, intense kind of desire or arousal that really revolves around that one thing.
...So with that being said, what about a "Smoking Fetish" in Particular?
Alright, let's dive into something more specific — how about a "Smoking Fetish"? So, here's the deal: a smoking fetish is when someone gets all worked up, either sexually or emotionally, by the whole smoking scene. Whether it's cigarettes, cigars, pipes, weed, or even vaping, just the sight, smell, or the act itself can really rev someone's engine. For many, it is all about the seductive visual aesthetic...seeing a woman smoking in a sexy, seductive way to arouse the passions.
And hey, this fetish can play out in different ways—some folks might get off on watching others smoke, while others might be all about lighting up themselves and enjoying the bodily sensations it gives them. And you know what? It's not uncommon for smoking to sneak its way into regular romantic or steamy situations, adding a bit of extra flavor.
Like any fetish, it varies from person to person in how intense it is, and how it's expressed.
How it Works for Me
Speaking for myself, my attraction to women who smoke is not so much a "fetish" or sexual attraction, its more a romantic and aesthetic attraction. Truthfully, I can be turned-on by a non-smoking woman, just as much as by a woman who smokes. But in the case of the lady smoker, the fact that she smokes in a stylish or seductive way just brings an added appeal and allure, an added "kick" or "hook" for me to catch and hold my attention and interest. But do I need for my lady partner to smoke in order for me to be romantically or erotically turned on, or attracted to her? Not at all. But, when a lady partner smokes in a seductive, enticing way, it definitely IS "icing on the cake" for me.
I described my first awareness of this attraction to smoking women in my childhood, in my introductory blog article on this site ( See "My Fascination with Smoking Women" - click HERE to view ) and for me, when I first became aware of the effect a smoking woman had on my sensibilities, it was not a sexual arousal or erotic attraction at all, but it was more of a physiological heart-pounding excitement or reaction, and the sight of a woman smoking had a strong aesthetically glamorous and romantic vibe to it for me. It took years for that attraction to later evolve from a purely aesthetic attraction to a more romantic attraction, but even then, it still remained more aesthetic than erotic or sexual for me.
While that is how a smoking lady appeals to me, I recognize that other men have their own reasons why it appeals to them. There are many shades of gray in this attraction. And that's okay.
